Congratulations to the winners of the Olympiad-2017!
The International Students Olympiad in Hot Bulk Forging Technologies was arranged by 17 Organizers in 13 countries. Students from 39 metal forming departments participated in the event on 22 - 28 April, 2017.
The competition between students consisted of the following steps: students got a drawing of an axisymmetric part after machining and designed the hot forged part and die impression for the final forging, determined the necessary technological chain for its manufacturing and then simulated the proposed forging process. Simulation was performed in QForm software for estimation and verification of the developed technology.

Final results:
1 Place tie Russia and Vietnam. Ms. Tatiana Borunova (Moscow Aviation Institute)
and Mr. Nguyen Trung Truc (Le Quy Don Technical University).
2 Place: Macedonia. Mr. Blagoja Nestorovski (University «St. Cyril and Methodius»).
3 Place tie Bulgaria, Poland and Romania. Mr. Blagovest Nikolov Zlatev (Technical University of Sofia), Mr. Szymon Latoń (AGH University of Science and Technology) and Mr. Cabel Georgian Constantin (University Politehnica of Bucharest).
Both first place winners will get laptops as main prize!
