Since 2014, our team has been organizing the International Students Olympiad on Metal Forming Processes. Each year, the Olympiad brings together participants from more than 15 countries, over 40 universities, and around 150 students.
The Olympiad project continues to grow, and we warmly invite you and your students to join and support this initiative!

The Forum is an event aimed at bringing together representatives of the global professional community — researchers, users, manufacturers, industry professionals, and early-career students — everyone interested in the development of metal forming technologies.
The Forum was attended by more than 70 participants from 50 companies. Attendance figures, a rich program of presentations and the overall atmosphere of the event give every reason to conclude that QForm Forum China was a highly successful event!
Our distributor, CAE Technology Inc., attended the annual fall conference 2025 KSTP (The Korean Society for Technology of Plasticity and Materials Processing).
At the conference, they presented a presentation titled “Optimal design of preforming and process analysis techniques for multi-material (AL–STEEL) in composite forging processes”, demonstrating the use of QForm UK Direct for preform forging.
At Korea Metal Week 2025,which took place on October 29-31, CAE Technology Co., Ltd. turned its booth into a hub for engineers, researchers, and experts from around the world. The discussions went beyond technology, focusing on real solutions for optimizing forging, rolling, extrusion and forming processes with QForm. A highlight of the exhibition was the opportunity to receive live, in-person consultations with engineers right at the booth.

Another important event took place in Korea, organized by our distributor CAE Technology Inc. — the CAETECH 2025 User Conference.
User conferences are among the most significant events in the professional community, where we share not only the latest developments that streamline production processes but also successful examples of QForm implementation and use.
Nikolay Biba participated in the CBM Mini Fastener Manufacturing Expo 2025, which took place on October 15 in West Bromwich, UK.
Organised by the Confederation of British Metalforming (CBM), this specialist event is dedicated to the fastener industry and brings together manufacturers, suppliers, and industry leaders for a focused day of networking, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
Every year, QForm Group organizes an the International Student Olympiad on Metal Forming Processes, which takes place in April/May. We contacted the winners and asked them to tell us about their impressions of the competition, share secrets of preparation process, and give advise to future participants.
Aleksandar Lazić, a student at the University of Belgrade in Serbia, took third place in the Hot Bulk Forging section and invested his prize money in purchasing a 3D printer! Alexander shared his thoughts about the Olympiad and gave some useful advice for future participants...
At the end of September, the 93rd AIKW Conference took place in Siegen, Germany. QForm UK presented a range of solutions and products designed not only for rolling process simulation, but also for roll pass design.
During the conference, Vitaliy Belugin, Head of the Longitudinal Rolling Bureau, QForm Group, gave a detailed presentation on the full range of QForm UK’s capabilities for rolling simulation.
In September, the QForm team and our Turkish distributor InSource Yazilim successfully held two major events: participation in ALUEXPO 2025 and the QForm User Seminar — highlighting innovative solutions for metal forming and aluminum extrusion industries.
Before we announce the launch of the new season of the International Student Olympiad, we’d like to share some photos from the awards ceremony.
The international scientific conference WPC25 Vitrintec took place on September 25–26, 2025, at the Nosalowy Dwór Resort & Spa in Zakopane. The event was organized by the Faculty of Non-Ferrous Metals of AGH University of Science and Technology and the AGH UST Laboratory of Extrusion Processes. Following the conference, participants attended the Basic Course on Aluminium Extrusion, organized by QForm Group in collaboration with the AGH UST Extrusion Process Laboratory. At the conference, Nikolay Biba presented a new platform based on QForm software: Extrusion Link – a new Industry 4.0 platform for collaboration and data exchange between extruders and diemakers. Extrusion Link concept significantly simplifies interaction between profile manufacturers, die producers and consumers of aluminum profiles.
We are proud to announce that QForm UK secured 3rd place in the Industrial Benchmark evaluation at the NUMISHEET 2025 conference, held from July 7–11, 2025.
Our distributors, MONTEROSA ADVISORY S.A.G.L., attended the Made in Steel exhibition, which took place in Milan from May 6 to 8. This key industry event brought together leading players in the steel sector from across Europe. During the event, Ubaldo Panzone and Mauro Berard held a series of productive meetings with partners and potential clients, and discussed new business opportunities.

From April 30 to May 2, 2024, QForm Group took part in the prestigious Aluminum Extrusion Technology Seminar & Exposition (ET24) in Orlando, USA. Renowned as a leading event for the aluminum extrusion industry, ET24 brought together experts, suppliers, and innovators from across the globe for three days of technical sessions, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
On September 13-14, 2024, QForm Group, in collaboration with DDSPLM PRIVATE LIMITED, its official distributor in India, took part in a highly anticipated conference and mini-exhibition organized by the association ALEMAI.
The event brought together industry leaders, technology enthusiasts, and professionals from the metal forming and manufacturing sectors to exchange insights, showcase innovations, and explore cutting-edge solutions.
In November, our team visited China to participate in key industry events — the ALPTC 2024 exhibition, the 8th Asiaforge meeting, and to conduct a QForm UK Training session. And also awarding the winners of the Olympiad-2024.
