Olympiad 2020

Congratulations to the winners of the Olympiad-2020!

This year 121 students participated in the competition. 114 students in forging and 7 students in extrusion technology.

Competition between students in hot bulk forging section consisted of the following steps: students got a drawing of an axisymmetric part after machining and designed the hot forged part and die impression for the final forging, determined the necessary technological chain for its manufacturing and then simulated the proposed forging process. Almost the same stages in the extrusion section.

1 Place tie Hungary and Russia: Kálmán Solti, Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary) and Ivan Kulakov, Bauman MSTU (Russia)

2 Place tie Germany and Macedonia: Fenja Hoefer, University of Stuttgart (Germany) and Anastasija Ignjatovska, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (Macedonia)

3 Place: Renato Coutinho Santos, Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (Brasil)
